EverySays ("we") provides a language shadowing service on the web and on Android. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account: your email address and authentication provider ID, handled through our authentication provider (Supabase). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and a basic profile identifier.
• Content you create: the articles or links you load, words and sentences you save, sentences you compose, and your learning activity and progress.
• Speech generation: text you choose to listen to is sent to a text-to-speech service to create audio. We do not access your microphone or record your voice.
• Technical data: basic logs required to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

We use it to provide and improve the service: to save your library and progress, generate speech, translations and explanations, and keep your account secure. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

Service providers

We share data with processors only to deliver features:

• Supabase · authentication and database hosting.
• Microsoft Azure Neural / Edge TTS · speech synthesis.
• Anthropic (Claude) · translations, explanations and sentence feedback.
• AssemblyAI · transcription for audio or video you upload.

Derived content such as translations or transcripts may be cached and reused to reduce cost; these caches are tied to content, not to your identity.

Guests

You can try core features without an account. Guest data stays on your device and is not linked to an account.

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

You can request access to, export of, or deletion of your data, and you can delete your account at any time. Contact us at the address below.

Children

EverySays is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and token-based authentication. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post any changes on this page with a new date.
